As owners of Fort Tryon Park, the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation manages the bench adoption process for this park. As part of a bench adoption program, they’ll install a plaque engraved with a personal message on the bench, and maintain it for the next 10 years. Benches are available in all boroughs. Your contributions are tax-deductible, and matching gifts are accepted. Certain parks, including Central Park and Bryant Park, are managed by local conservancies which oversee these bench adoption programs.
