Tree Count the Park!

Help us keep Fort Tryon Park’s canopy thriving! On Sunday, October 12 from 1:30–3:30 PM, join the Fort Tryon Park Trust and NYC Parks for a hands-on Tree Census adventure.

After a brief training session, you’ll head out in small groups to explore different areas of the park using an easy-to-use Tree Census app. Together, we’ll count and record the park’s diverse trees, contributing valuable data to support urban forestry and the health of our beloved green space.
