SEEING WITH A CAMERA with Aliza Holtz
An Introduction to How the Camera Sees—and How That Affects Your Photographs

Seeing with a Camera is an experiential photography workshop centered on a fundamental but often overlooked idea: the camera does not see the way we do!

In this introductory workshop, participants are guided through a series of observations and simple exercises that reveal how the camera interprets light, space, and form. By learning to recognize what the camera records—and what it leaves out—participants begin to close the gap between perception and photograph.

This session is designed as a standalone experience and is accessible to individuals at all levels, including those with no prior photography experience. Any digital camera, including a smartphone, is suitable.
