The Isadora Duncan Dance Company returns to Fort Tryon Park’s Billings Lawn for a free performance of inspiring dances to delight audiences of all ages! The dancers will breathe new life into the Isadora Duncan repertoire, re-staged by Artistic Director Lori Belilove to the classical music of Chopin, Schubert, Brahms, C.W. Gluck, and a reimagined new work, “For Ukraine” set to the Ukrainian National Anthem.
In this new work, Artistic Director Lori Belilove and her Company pay homage to the heroic valor and grit of the Ukrainian people.  Belilove, herself a descendant of Ukrainian ancestry, reimagines these dances that evoke the cry, the terror, the loss.

 

Bring your friends and family and a blanket to enjoy this performance in a beautiful setting with the Hudson River as a backdrop.
