Hike the Heights 2026

Hike the Heights is an annual community hike and celebration in northern Manhattan parks. The day consists of hikes along the Giraffe Path and a community celebration in Highbridge Park, with arts, games, food, and fun for all ages.

The neighborhood party serves as a community “potluck” — each individual, group, or organization contributes something to the day: art stations, sport clinics, music and dancing, and their time and energy. The community flavor makes it feel like a family picnic, even for first-time participants!
