First Birding Tour of the Year a Huge Success!

We kicked off the year with a fantastic birding tour led by our expert guide, Alexandra Wang, and it was a huge success! Over 40 nature enthusiasts joined us on Groundhog Day to explore Fort Tryon Park and discover the diverse bird species that call it home. Participants learned about the unique bird habitats within the park and the importance of conservation efforts to protect these beautiful creatures. Alexandra even made a special Groundhog Day fact sheet for everyone!

The tour was filled with sightings of local birds, including both year-round residents and migratory species. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and fellow bird lovers.

Our next birding event will be on Saturday, March 22. Mark your calendars and join us for another exciting adventure through the park to learn more about the incredible wildlife that thrives here!
