SUMMARY:Sunset Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy free yoga classes while overlooking the beautiful Hudson River and basking in the glow of the setting sun! \nBring a towel or a yoga mat and water. Use your masks and socially distance as appropriate. \nNo advance registration. Arrive early as capacity is limited and attendance is on a “first-come\, first-served” basis. Every attendee must sign a NYC Parks/Fort Tryon Park Trust waiver on-site at each session. \nAbby’s Lawn is slightly sloped and there are some uneven spots. Rain or wet ground cancels the class. For cancelations\, check the Fort Tryon Park Instagram Page. \nCertified instructor\, Stacey Linden\, has been teaching yoga for twenty years and it has been integral in her life — physically\, mentally\, and spiritually. We are happy to have her share its many facets with our park community. Stacey teaches at all levels and believes yoga should be practiced\, not “perfected.” Every time we step onto our mats\, we can be just a little surprised by where our bodies\, minds\, and breath are at that moment. \nSunset Yoga is a program presented by the Fort Tryon Park Trust.
