This summer\, NYC Parks and The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment will host family-friendly movie showings across the five boroughs. \nA boy named Miguel dreams of becoming a famous guitar player\, despite the misgivings of his close-knit family. When his lofty ambitions cause him to run afoul of a curse\, he must journey into the Land of the Dead to seek forgiveness from his ancestors. \nThis film will be screened in Spanish with English subtitles. \nThe Dongan Lawn is located on Broadway at the Dongan Pl. entrance.  \nActivities: 5:00pm \nMovie: 7:00pm \nThis event is FREE and open to the public. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather\, the screening may be canceled. Wulfric\, a misunderstood wolf with a sweet tooth\, crosses paths with Little Red on her travels to deliver her Grandma cupcakes and the trouble begins. This story offers a comical lesson on the importance to disconnect from our digital lives and enjoy real life moment with friends and family. \nAll are welcome!
