DESCRIPTION:Join artist Jessica Maffia for a Sunday craft – bird mobiles! Study the birds that live in New York City year-round. Learn what they look like – their names\, shapes\, and colors – as part of a drawing lesson\, then make your own bird mobile to hang in your home! Craft suitable for ages 6-11. Caregivers must accompany children for the duration of the program. RSVP is required via eventbrite. This event takes place at Highbridge Recreation Center (Amsterdam Avenue at W. 173rd Street).

In this ExploraStory workshop\, local storyteller Rachael Harrington will lead participants on a walk through the depths of Fort Tryon Park\, observing natural elements along the way.
