DESCRIPTION:Of the light\, earth\, and beauty. \nThe Isadora Duncan Dance Company returns to Fort Tryon Park’s Billings Lawn for a free performance of inspiring dances to delight audiences of all ages! The dancers will breathe new life into the Isadora Duncan repertoire\, re-staged by Artistic Director Lori Belilove to the classical music of Chopin\, Schubert\, Brahms\, C.W. Gluck\, as well as contemporary music including Brian Eno and Czechoslovakian composer Smetana. Tour the Dongan Lawn site with Shelley and gain insights into selecting and framing your subject\, create an artwork with her guidance and encouragement during the working session\, then share a viewing of participants’ artworks. \nFor beginning and experienced adult artists and mature young adults. \nDrawing materials provided\, or bring your own favorite supplies. \nMeet inside the entrance near Broadway and Dongan Place. Bring a blanket and portable stool or chair for flexible drawing options. Limited park bench seating is available. \nClass size is limited to 15 registered participants. Guests must register with Eventbrite. This is a family-friendly\, outdoor event. No proof of vaccination is required but please wear your masks as needed. Get your ticket today before they run out! Due to limited capacity\, we cannot accept walk-ins. If you are bringing a guest\, please ensure they have a ticket.\nregister here \nCloisters Lawn is the central lawn in Fort Tryon Park\, south of the museum and facing the Hudson River.\nThe Cloisters Lawn will be closed to through access during this event.
