The parade begins at 12:00 PM along Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas)\, marching from 37th Street to 55th Street in a dazzling display of music\, dance\, and national pride. While smaller celebrations take place in the Bronx\, Queens\, and Brooklyn on other dates\, this Manhattan parade is the largest and most iconic. \nDominican Day in New York commemorates the anniversary of the 1863 Restoration War\, marking the Dominican Republic’s fight for independence from Spain.
